Ingredients
6 Weet-Bix Wheat Biscuits, crushed
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup chopped dried fruit (sultanas, apricots, cherries)
½ cup desiccated coconut
½ cup toasted sunflower seeds
100g margarine
½ cup honey
½ cup raw sugar
½ cup Sanitarium Crunchy Peanut Butter
Directions
1. Start by lining a 27 x 18 cm dish with baking paper. Then mix your
Weet-Bix Wheat Biscuits, rolled oats, dried fruit, tasty coconut and
nutritious toasted sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
2. Place the margarine, honey, raw sugar and Sanitarium Crunchy Peanut
Butter into a small saucepan. Bring to the boil.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir more frequently towards
the end to avoid the mixture sticking to the base of the saucepan,
ensuring the mixture caramelises before removing from the heat.
4. Pour the honey mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Press into the lined baking dish then refrigerate until set.
5. Cut into 24 bars.
